Lodgepole Ad

We designed this ad to place in a bridal magazine (Rocky Mountain Bride) promoting our letterpress. Though fledgling, I have in mind that the brand of our letterpress print shop is irreverent, somewhat whimsical and anything but fancy script. The essence of modern letterpress is blending 21st century design techniques with 20th century machinery. So the ad needed to reflect those sentiments:

For starters, instead of green, we’re going with a blue tree for the logo. Since letterpress is so three-dimensional, I decided the ad needed a background with depth. The red I threw in to fulfill the “whimsical” aspect of our brand.
