Gaperville Creative is a husband and wife duo that has teamed up to use each of their strengths to provide the mountain community with affordable web and graphic design.
Christine has nearly two decades of marketing, public relations and design experience. She’s a superb wordsmith, and has most recently been a freelance contributor to Rocky Mountain Bride magazine and its blog. Proficient in everything Adobe, she can quickly create flyers, business cards and the like. (Proficiency is one of the reasons we’re able to keep our prices low…)
Mark also did a stint as a freelance financial writer, but has since moved on to being an artist and wood carver. (His carving portfolio can be seen at WoodZWayz.com.) In a previous life, he worked for IBM and other such companies as an IT geek. Mark brings the knowledge to set up and host websites, purchase domain names for your business and link it all together into one, slick, professional package.
We’re big fans of using WordPress as a content management system (CMS), so once the website design is complete, up and running, we’ll train you how to manage your own content to be nimble and make quick changes. (Another reason our prices are lower than many area web design firms.) We’ll also teach you how to use tags and tricks for keeping content fresh.
Why “Gaperville”?
It’s an inside joke to us perma-residents of mountain resort communities…Our business is based in West Grand County at the center of the Steamboat/Winter Park/Summit triangle, so the name seemed fitting.
